Terms of service

Terms & Conditions

1. General

1.1 Hey Trouble-maker — welcome to our Terms & Conditions. Not the most thrilling thing you'll read today, but it sets out what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. When we say "us", "we", "our" or "Trouble", we mean [Legal entity name, e.g. Trouble Clothing Private Limited]. When we say "you", we mean you, our customer.

1.2 These Terms apply when you place an order with us through troubleco.com (the "Online Store").

1.3 By placing an order you agree to be bound by these Terms (the "Terms"). Please read and understand them before ordering.

1.4 Only persons who can enter into a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 may transact on the Online Store. You must be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you may use the Online Store only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. You must have a valid email address and a delivery address in India.

1.5 You may not place orders for corporate, commercial or resale purposes. We do not issue commercial GST invoices for corporate use.

1.6 To keep things running smoothly, you agree not to (i) post or transmit content that could harm our business, products or services; (ii) interfere with other users' use of the Online Store or its security; or (iii) use any bot, crawler, scraper or similar tool to access, search or copy the Online Store. We may suspend or close the account of any user who breaches these Terms or acts against Trouble's interests.

1.7 Trouble sells its products only through its own Online Store (troubleco.com) and any marketplace we officially authorise. We do not endorse or accept responsibility for products sold by any third party or unauthorised seller, and any such transaction is at your own risk. We specifically disclaim liability for any counterfeit, fake or defective products bought from unauthorised sellers.

1.8 We may amend these Terms from time to time, but the version you accept at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. The latest version will always be published here — check back now and then.

2. Prices and Delivery Charges

2.1 Prices in the Online Store include applicable GST but exclude delivery charges. The total cost, including delivery, is shown at checkout.

2.2 Prices online may differ from any pop-up or physical retail prices.

2.3 The delivery charge is shown at checkout. Our standard delivery fee is Rs. [amount]. If we split your order into more than one delivery, you'll only be charged once.

2.4 We may run promotions, discount codes and offers from time to time. These are valid only for the stated period and on their stated terms, cannot be combined unless we say so, and must be applied before you complete checkout.

3. Ordering

3.1 To order, add items to your bag using "Add to bag", review your bag, and click "Complete purchase". Placing an order is a binding offer to buy the items in your bag.

3.2 We'll send an automatic email confirming your order has been placed. Note: this is confirmation of receipt, not acceptance. A binding contract is formed only when we send you a shipping confirmation email.

3.3 We may be unable to accept your order for operational, legal or commercial reasons — for example, if an item is out of stock or we suspect it's being ordered for resale. If so, we'll let you know as soon as possible.

3.4 If we've already received payment for an order we don't accept, we'll refund the amount using your original payment method.

4. Payment

4.1 You can pay using the methods offered at checkout, which may include credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), UPI, net banking, and cash on delivery. Depending on the method, additional terms may apply. We may verify card validity and details and may refuse orders based on those checks.

4.2 Your receipt/tax invoice will be sent with your order confirmation and included in your package.

4.3 Please see our Privacy Policy for how your personal information is used and stored.

5. Delivery

5.1 Estimated delivery time is shown at checkout and in your shipping confirmation email.

5.2 We do our best to deliver on time, but delays can happen due to events outside our control. If your order hasn't arrived by the estimated time, contact us and we'll help.

5.3 If your order can't be delivered after 3 attempts, it will be returned to us at no cost to you, and your amount refunded to the original payment method.

5.4 We reserve the right not to deliver in cases of force majeure or if your location/pin code becomes unserviceable. If we can't fulfil your order for these reasons, we'll cancel and refund it.

6. Exchanges (please read — we don't do returns)

6.1 We exchange. We don't return. Some things you commit to. Changed your mind? You may exchange eligible items within 7 days of delivery, for store credit only. We do not offer cash refunds for change of mind.

6.2 To request an exchange, contact us at [email] or use the exchange option in your account, within 7 days of delivery.

6.3 Store credit is issued once we receive and inspect the returned item. Original delivery charges are non-refundable.

6.4 Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, undamaged, with all tags attached, in their original packaging. Items that have been worn (beyond trying on), soiled, altered or damaged are not eligible for exchange.

6.5 This exchange policy covers change of mind. It does not limit your statutory rights in respect of defective items — see Section 7.

7. Defects

7.1 If an item has a genuine material or manufacturing fault, or is damaged in transit, we abide by all applicable statutory regulations. Please notify us within [7/15] days of receipt with photos and your order number.

7.2 For a verified defective item, we will, at your option and as required by law, replace it or refund it. Select "Defective / damaged item" when raising the request.

8. Our Liability

8.1 We make reasonable efforts to keep information in the Online Store accurate and current, but to the extent permitted by law we do not guarantee it is always accurate, complete or up to date.

8.2 We do our best to display product measurements, composition and colours accurately. Colours may vary by screen, and measurements are approximate. If you're not satisfied, see Section 6.

8.3 We are not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control (including government action, new law, labour disputes, war, civil unrest, extreme weather, fire, explosion, pandemic/epidemic and natural disasters).

8.4 To the extent permitted by law, our maximum liability for any loss or damage in connection with your order is limited to the total price of that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud).
